It is our honour to announce the 2019 Wandering Music Stars Festival and Tel Aviv International Piano Competition at Tel Aviv University’s Buchmann Mehta School of Music, with concerts at the Jerusalem Theatre and Tel Aviv’s Opera House with the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra.
Israel, even though a young country and a history of thousands of years, has produced some of the greatest musicians in the world.
Musicians come from all over the world to Israel to find their own way to communicate beautiful music with the audiences.
The Jerusalem Symphony is 12 years older then the state of Israel, and throughout it’s history has collaborated with some of the greatest musicians in the classical world, inclding Rostropovich, Stern, Szeriyng, Klemperer, Maazel and Rubinstein to name a few.
Buchmann- Mehta School of Music at Tel Aviv University is a legendary music school, which produces some of todays finest musicians who perform all over the world.
We wish all the competition participants to perform beautifully and enjoy a very healthy music environment in Israel.
We are very proud to share beautiful music with you, which touches our souls and gives us hope for peace all over the world.

We are proud to welcome you to our First Edition of the "Wandering Music Stars" Israel Music Festival and Tel Aviv International Piano Competition 2019, organized by European Foundation for Support of Culture, which is taking place in the cities of Jerusalem and Tel Aviv.
This international festival will also comprise of an international piano competition, providing an opportunity and a new effective platform for young pianists, not only to show their technique, skills and professionalism but also their personality and knowledge when interpreting the compositions,which they will be performing.
The "Wandering Music Stars" Tel Aviv International Piano Competition 2019 makes part of the big series of 14 international piano competitions where 5 best participants of each competition will be invited to participate at the Malta International Piano Competition 2021 within the framework of the “Malta International Music Festival”.
The mission of the European Foundation for Support of Culture through the presentation of this Festival is to re-discover, promote, support and document the great masters for keyboard while providing audiences with a unique musical experience; to build the audiences of the future to help ensure the very existence of classical music.
With so many artistic achievements to its credit, the European Foundation for Support of Culture looks forward towards the continued success of its classical music projects in the future.
